Galleries for the exhibition of fine art, photography, and sculpture at Center for Faith & the Arts were completed in March of 2005. The inaugural exhibit, consisting of fourteen large paintings by Dr. Walter K. Hood, opened on March 31. These were Hood’s rendition of
The Stations of the Cross. That installation was shown through May 6, 2005. Center for Faith & the Arts presented an exhibit of photography by Robert Pruehsner (June 16 to July 28) and an exhibit titled “Paintings Close to the Heart” by Carl Tuttle (October 20 to November 30, 2005). Tuttle’s paintings include both oils and pastels.
"Artists have the great privilege of understanding the creative process, which gives them a glimpse into the joy that the almighty creator must have felt at the beginning of time."
